Zara is a station of Line 3 of Milan Metro, whose inauguration took place in 1995, five years after the opening of the original trunk of the line to the public. It was the final stop of the line until 1995, when Maciachini (Milan Metro) was opened.
The station is located in Zara Avenue at the intersection with the Ring Road, which is in the municipality of Milan.
The station is underground, it is built on a single rod with two trucks, and it is sometimes flooded.
Zara will be the provisional starting point of the new Line 5 in 2012.
